ふわふわの訳

Fluffy meaning

Light yet rich flavor

Aiming for flavorful soup

The second generation Kubota

The most popular dish at Taikaiken is wonton noodles.

What is the best thing?

Yes, because the wontons are fluffy.

Wonton is written as "雲トン"

Swallowing Clouds

What is it?

We are also making banners and promoting the event at our Moroyama and Hachioji stores.

(The Hachioji store currently has a flag advertising the takeaway Chinese noodle set.)

Why is it fluffy?

it is

This is because the skin is thin!

For comparison, I bought some original brand leather from Aeon.

It says "It has a thin skin and is easy to wrap."

It sings about how easy it is to wrap.

Being thin makes it fluffy.

Wonton skin comparison
Left: Aeon Top Value brand "Wonton and shumai wrapper" Right: Kusamura Shoten wonton wrapper

Aeon skin weighs 110g for 30 pieces

The average weight of the Kusamura Shoten skins used by Taikaiken is 382g for 107 pieces.

The ions are probably produced by machine.

Kusamura Shoten does all its work by hand, using hand-stretched bars.

Comparison of wonton skin thickness

The size of the Ion skin is 7.5cm x 7.5cm

The Kusamura Shoten leather is 10cm x 10cm

Calculating the weight of 1 cm2

Aeon skin is 0.065g

Kusamura Shoten's skin weighs 0.036g

Looking at these numbers, we can see that Kusamura Shoten's skin is thinner than Aeon's.

It's all thanks to the manual labor.

But this fluffy texture only comes from eating (drinking) it together with the soup.

A customer once picked up a wonton with his chopsticks, picked it up and asked, half-angrily, "What's so fluffy about this?!"

It's true that when you pick it up with chopsticks, it's not fluffy, it's mushy and gooey.

Everyone, please use a spoon to scoop up the soup and drink it.

Enjoy the taste!

So

The soup is the key to ramen
