"Unchanging dignity" and "the joy of changing"

Since its founding in 1976, Taikaiken has made it its mission to perfect the art of soup making while continuing to experiment and improve recipes to achieve the goal of ultimate deliciousness. The menu has changed significantly with the introduction of "tsukesoba" and the discontinuation of "hiyashi chuka soba", but the toppings and flavors of the chuka soba and wonton noodles remain the same. We do not plan to introduce any new menu items in the future, and would like to continue our current approach of pursuing deliciousness with soup as the main focus.
However, in 2020, the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic prompted them to rethink their strategy and take their brand to the next level. They decided to launch an online shop to deliver their signature soup, which is made without green onions but contains bamboo shoots and roasted pork, to customers across the country. Unlike the in-store menu, the online shop does not include chopped green onions, allowing customers to freely customize the soup and make their own twist on the classic taste.
Looking to the future, we will continue to pursue the perfect soup base for ramen in our stores, while at the same time continuing to expand our online shop through our stores. By focusing on the soup, which is the core of ramen, we believe that you will be satisfied whether you visit our store or enjoy the soup at home. We would like to continue to spread the taste of Taikaiken throughout Japan.
