A relationship with Taikaiken that continues from the days of Saitama Medical University
We spoke with Mr. N (65 years old), who started going to Taikaiken when he enrolled at Saitama Medical University and is now a practicing doctor in his hometown of Tochigi Prefecture. He talked about his long time with Taikaiken and his love for its flavors.
His relationship with Taikaiken began when he was 18 years old . "I started going there about twice a week when I was 18 and entered Saitama Medical University in Moroyama-cho. I still vividly remember being treated to a meal by the founder and owner of the soba restaurant next door. I'll never forget the warm personality and the taste of the ramen."
The taste he became accustomed to during his student days has remained important to him even after he returned to his hometown, and now he purchases Taikaiken ramen once a month through the online shop's "Sudden Regular Delivery" service.
"An indispensable presence"
"Currently, my wife and I eat here as a couple, but my two sons also have fond memories of coming to Taikaiken when they were children and eating ramen together. The ramen you eat in the restaurant is the best, but you can also enjoy the almost identical taste of frozen ramen."
He especially likes the deep flavor of the sardine soup simmered in a feather pot and the fragrant back fat. "I had it for lunch today, and my wife and I both said, 'It's still as delicious as ever,'" he said, conveying a warm and domestic scene.
Impression of "dried sardine aroma" that has changed from the past "Compared to the past, the dried sardine aroma at Taikaiken now is not too strong, and I think it's just right. When I was in Saitama, people came from various prefectures, but some people didn't like dried sardines. But the soup now has a good balance that makes it easy for anyone to eat."
Taikaiken ramen has been loved for many years, and I believe it is because it combines "unchanging deliciousness" with "evolving deliciousness" that it continues to be supported by so many customers.
" I want to share this taste with my classmates . I think there are many graduates who feel nostalgic for the taste of their time at Moroyama. But many of them may not know about the existence of the online shop. If they did find out, I'm sure they'd be happy to try it."
We also received some valuable advice: "If there is an opportunity to advertise in the alumni magazine, it could be a good chance to spread the word about your online shop."
From Taikaiken <br data-mce-fragment="1">Taikaiken's Chinese noodles and ramen are loved by many people as an "indispensable part" of their school days and time spent with family, even in faraway places. In order to continue to meet the expectations of customers like Mr. N who have supported us for many years, Taikaiken will continue to pursue deliciousness.
With the "Ikinari Regular Delivery" service, you can enjoy the same old flavors at home on a regular basis. Please enjoy the nostalgic taste once again!
